Refund Policy

At The Sandy Foundation, we value the support of our donors and the participation of our community members in our programs. Because we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we have established the following policy regarding refunds for donations and program registrations.
1. Donations

General Donations: As a general rule, all donations made to The Sandy Foundation are considered non-refundable. These funds are immediately put to work supporting our mission to provide accessible sports and advocacy for veterans and people with disabilities.

Error in Donation: If you have made an error in the amount of your donation or if a duplicate transaction occurred, please contact us at admin@thesandyfoundation.org within 15 days of the transaction. We will work with you to correct the error and issue a refund if applicable.

Recurring Donations: You may cancel a recurring donation at any time through your account or by contacting us. Cancellations will apply to future charges; previously processed donations are non-refundable.
2. Program & Event Registrations
We understand that life happens. For registrations involving sports leagues, community events, or workshops, the following applies:

Cancellations by Participant: * Cancellations made [14 days] or more before the program start date will receive a full refund (minus any non-refundable processing fees charged by third-party platforms like Wix or PayPal).

Cancellations made within [7–13 days] of the start date may be eligible for a 50% refund or a credit toward a future program.

No refunds will be issued for "no-shows" or cancellations made less than [7 days] before the event.

Cancellations by The Sandy Foundation: In the event that a program is canceled by the Foundation due to low enrollment, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all registrants will receive a 100% refund.
3. Merchandise
If you purchase apparel or physical goods from our site:

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
